At POSS, our mission is to foster a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere where every horse and exhibitor can shine. We believe in creating opportunities for all—regardless of breed or skill level—while celebrating the spirit of horsemanship and community.

Who We Are
The Pahrump Open Show Series (P.O.S.S.) organization combines a professional show experience with a welcoming, small-town atmosphere. Our club was originally formed with a simple goal: to teach people how to show their horses and prepare them for larger circuits.
Over the years, we have evolved. We maintain the rigor of a judged competition, but with a distinct educational advantage: after classes are judged, our professionals provide direct, constructive suggestions to help you improve. From pre-walking trail and jump courses to verifying showmanship patterns, we ensure every exhibitor leaves with more knowledge than they arrived with.

Our Standards
We believe that a supportive environment shouldn’t mean lowering standards. We bridge the gap between practice and professional competition by adhering to dress codes and prohibiting schooling equipment in the ring.
Our Community
P.O.S.S. is more than just a horseshow; it is a gathering place for horse lovers to bond, share information, and build lasting friendships. We welcome participants from every area to join a network where competitors support each other.

You must show at a minimum of 1 show before the buckle show and have 4 hours of volunteer time documented with show management to qualify for the 2026 Buckle Show. Help us to make these shows run smoothly and FUN FOR EVERYONE!
